Joy Yee Noodle is a Chicago institution. Opening their first location in Evanston in 1994 and their second in Chinatown Square in 1996, they were the first to offer Taiwanese style bubble teas in the midwest.
When I was approached by Kee Chan Experience to help evolve the visual identity of Joy Yee Noodle, they were 6 locations strong, and looking to independently brand their smoothie station so that it could scale and expand with new restaurant locations and on its own. We developed two logomarks that would help define the guidelines by which the brand will continue to grow.
